BARSTOW — Get ready to kick up some dust and celebrate a century of America’s Mother Road. Barstow is pulling out all the stops for the Main Street USA Festival, a two-day extravaganza honoring the 100th anniversary of Route 66, alongside America’s 250th birthday and Barstow’s own 75th anniversary.

The festival takes place Friday, October 9, and Saturday, October 10, 2026, in historic Downtown Barstow, promising a weekend packed with live entertainment, classic cars, off-road displays, pageantry, and family-friendly fun.

A Milestone Celebration

This year’s festival carries historic weight, commemorating three major milestones:

  • 100 years of Route 66 (1926–2026)
  • 250 years of American freedom (1776–2026)
  • 75 years of the City of Barstow

Organizers describe the event as a chance to “honor our roots while looking boldly toward the future,” with the theme: “Honoring the Past. Looking to the Future.”
